Well we survived Christmas, it was lovely to watch the kids enjoy the day so much, it took an hour for them to unwrap their presents from Santa and us on Christmas morning. They were totally and utterly spoilt but it was well worth it to see their surprised and smiling faces. Christmas has otherwise been very laid back, we caught up with family the rest of the day and then had some friends around for a BBQ on boxing day. We spent a lovely day up the coast with Andrea's Grandparents and at her Dad's where again the kids were totally spoilt. Its just been a shame that the weather has been so bad. New Years was a very quiet affair, we have come to the conclusion that it is going to be for a few more years yet, ah well it is only another day. Ryan has been busy toilet training, he's not doing too badly, its amazing what chocolate can do. Grace is nearly 10 months old, not far from her 1st birthday. She is still walking around the furniture and I'm sure that it won't be long before she gets the confidence to let go. She is also babbling a lot now, there has been conjecture whether she is actually saying anything but to us the proud parents it definitely sounds like Mama and DadDad. We have a few big events coming up to look forward to, Dan's birthday in Feb, Andrea's Dad getting remarried and Grace turning One in March, before we know it it will be Christmas again. Best wishes to everyone for 2007, Roll on Summer! xx Andrea and Dan |
